Welcome to Ritzman Smart Homes. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (www.ritzmansmarthomes.com) and the purchase of our products and services, including smart home automation, security systems, and smart inverters.

 

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. SERVICES AND SCOPE


Ritzman Smart Homes provides professional installation, equipment sales (smart inverters, lighting, security, cinema), and home automation consultations.


Estimates: Any quote or estimate provided via the website is subject to physical site inspection and may change based on actual requirements.

All quotations are valid for two weeks, from the date the quotation was sent.

 

Any additional product or services added to the scope of a quotation will attract additional fees.

 

Installation: Professional installation is recommended. Ritzman Smart Homes is not liable for damages caused by third-party installers not authorized by us.


2. USE OF THE WEBSITE

 

The content on this site is for general information only and is subject to change without notice.


Unauthorized use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.


3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 

The branding, design, layout, and graphics on www.ritzmansmarthomes.com are owned by or licensed to Ritzman Smarthomes and Automations Ltd. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice.


4. PAYMENTS AND ORDERS

 

All prices are quoted in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless stated otherwise.


Full or partial payment (deposit) may be required before the commencement of any installation project or delivery of hardware.

 

For the protection and longevity of all equipment, Ritzman Smart Homes securely stores and manages its hardware exclusively in our own controlled facilities until it is ready for installation. 


Ritzman Smart Homes reserves the right to cancel orders due to stock unavailability or pricing errors.


5. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY


Product Warranty: Hardware (such as smart inverters) is subject to the specific manufacturer’s warranty. Ritzman Smart Homes will assist in processing claims for products installed by us.


Service Warranty: We provide a limited warranty on our installation workmanship for a period of 3 months from the date of completion.


Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ritzman Smart Homes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use or inappropriate use of our automated systems, including but not limited to network failures or power surges.


6. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES AND PROJECT TERMS

Safe Access: For installation services, the customer must ensure safe access to the premises at the scheduled time of working hours.

 

Internet Connectivity: Many smart home features require a stable internet connection. Ritzman Smart Homes is not responsible for system failures caused by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

 

Power Supply: Electricity will be provided by clients for installation when needed, this includes provision with alternate power sources in the case where power from grid is unavailable.

 

Preliminary Electrical Wiring: All preliminary electrical cabling most especially neutral cables for every lighting switch point must be in place, before commencement of installations.

Power Integrity Testing: Completion of proper electrical power integrity tests must have been done, distribution boards and power panels must have been properly installed, before the commencement of hardware installations.


Completion of POP Ceiling, installation of Spotlights, screeding and first coat painting of building, before commencement of hardware installation.

 

All home automation projects by Ritzman Smart Homes And Automations are planned to run within a 1-year period, starting from the official commencement of the project. Once this One year Service period ends, there will be updated invoices for any continued support, updates, or maintenance.


Also, each phase of every home automation project is expected to be completed within a 3-month window, provided the client has made available all necessities in due time. Please note that the 3-month window is not the time it takes to finish a phase, but the time at which that phase can be kept open before the need to cover extra work or costs.


If a phase is delayed for more than 3 months due to the site not being ready, there would be a need for a revised agreement and revised invoice. 

 

7. CANCELLATION AND NO REFUND POLICY

 

All payments, deposits and milestone disbursements made towards a project at Ritzman Smart Homes And Automations are STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE.  From the immediate acknowledgement of funds received, resources, custom equipment production, and labor are immediately allocated to project execution. Consequently, no refunds will be issued be it partial or full. By proceeding with the payment plan, the client expressly accepts and agrees to these terms.


8. DATA PRIVACY

 

Your privacy is important to us. Any personal information collected through our inquiry forms is governed by our Privacy Policy and will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your requests and improving our services.


9. GOVERNING LAW

 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Lagos or Abuja.
